Christina and Sledge got hitched on September 22, and what a perfect day it was! Taylor Rae Photography captured their wedding beautifully. They had their first date during the Charlotte uptown protests, their second date during hurricane Matthew, and their engagement session during a freezing cold day in Charleston. So it's safe to say we were all extremely happy with an 80 degree, slightly breezy Charleston day for their wedding!

Elegant, romantic, and modern. If we could describe the 2018 wedding trends in three words, those would be our top ones.
A beautiful and unique Garden City Wedding is such an unique idea. We wanted to do something less traditional when we think of a New York City wedding. We combined the City rooftop views with garden elements.
Beautiful Bride Events founder, Tassia Davis, and NY Region lead planner Kerry Gittle were able to bring their vision to life with the contribution of amazing vendors starting with photographer Jenny Fu with Jenny Fu Studio who has been published recently on Brides Magazine. Talented Manhattan florist Designs by Ahn provided a beautiful bouquet, boutonniere and the perfect table centerpiece. The absolutely star from our shoot - a Galiah Lahav gown. From the calligraphy items to the flowers, from the jewelry to tabletop items, the modern elements came together in a beautiful way that could fill the eyes and dreamy minds of newly engaged couples.

Abby and Cody have truly a fairy tale story and their wedding couldn't have a more beautiful backdrop than the Boone Hall Plantation.
When I first met with Abby and Cody, we visited a few venues together and they just loved the Avenue of Oaks, beautiful gardens, and the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation. Next we booked Nicole with Ava Moore Photography and honestly, these wedding pictures could't be more stunning. I am a fan of Nicole's work!. A few weeks later Cody was going to be deployed in Afghanistan for a year. Abby was a wonderful bride to work with and we got all the vendors lined up and took care of all details. Their wedding day was full of love and joy. Their colors were ivory, gold, blush, and green. Ann with The Purple Magnolia created the beautiful centerpieces, mantel arrangements, and the greenery on the poles inside the building. Abby's bouquet was very classic and romantic. Simply Elegant Rentals provided all rentals including drapes, chandeliers, and lounge furniture.
Planning their beautiful wedding in Charleston was truly a joy and this sweet couple will be always in our minds and hearts! Congratulations to Abby and Cody!
Congrats to Trent & Katie on their Founders Hall Wedding! We were working with them every step of the way through the planning months and Erika, our associate wedding planner with Beautiful Bride Events did an outstanding job coordinating their big day. Ava Moore Photography did such a great job capturing their day, that makes it hard to even pick a few photos to share. Founders Hall has that woodsy rustic feel that suited Katie and Trent’s vision perfectly. The park has an absolutely breathtaking setting. The greenery and flowers by The Purple Magnolia were absolutely stunning and are one of my favorite details.

The WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards recognize the top 5% of local wedding professionals on WeddingWire that demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness, and professionalism. Winners are selected solely based on reviews from more than a million newlyweds and are determined by a combination of excellence in four factors: overall rating, total number of reviews, review performance from 2017, and consistency of reviews from year to year.
Last Fall, Molly and Tim tied the knot at Hyde Park and Polo Club in a beautiful rustic-vintage themed wedding. Our associate wedding planner Erika did an amazing job coordinating the vendors, timeline and setting up the decor provided by the family. It was an absolute pleasure to put their vision together. A bed swing, wild flowers, and vintage furniture and decor, were the perfect combination to make this wedding memorable and very personal.
Chelsea Paige Photography captured the beautiful day and we were trilled in seeing the final result weeks later.
Just got engaged and dream in getting hitched in the city? How about a less conservative option and take your wedding to closer to the sky? There is nothing like the New York City skyline, so go with a unique rooftop location that will give your special day the WOW factor you’ve been looking for. Here are some of our favorite rooftop wedding venues in NYC. As your wedding planner, Beautiful Bride Events can assist you venue hunting and help you to choose the perfect space for you NYC wedding.
620 Loft & Garden
If you're undecided between an indoor or outdoor wedding ceremony? 620 Loft & Garden offers you both! The Loft provides you gorgeous views of the marquee of Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Plaza, and the Prometheus statue. The Garden, open year-round for those winter brides, features extraordinary views of Fifth Avenue and St. Patrick’s Cathedral from a manicured historic garden, complete with a sparkling reflective pool. A tented area in the garden keeps the party going year round.
One of the largest rooftop spaces in the City. It can accommodate up to 400 people. Tribeca Rooftop is perfect for the social butterfly bride, with 15,000-square-feet on the 12th floor penthouse to accommodate all of your guests. After the ceremony, take the party down a level to Tribeca 360 where you have over 30,000-square-feet of room to do everything you have pinned on your bridal Pinterest board. Let's just say, there will be no bumping elbows on this dance floor.
Public Hotel opened on Summer 2017 and we couldn't be more surprised when we did a walk through. The Hotel is very modern. The Sunrise Terrace is located on the 17th floor. The two rooms on the same floor is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the city skyline. Reserve each room separately or take the whole floor to create a one-of-a kind event. Combining the three spaces the capacity is up to 500 people.
Studio 450 New York City Loft Event Space located in midtown Manhattan, is a penthouse duplex with a rooftop terrace and incredible skyline views. Studio 450 can accommodate corporate events, weddings, media events, bat/bar mitzvahs, pop up stores, fashion shows, product launches, fundraisers, cocktail parties and other special events.
Midtown Loft & Terrace
Midtown Loft & Terrace offers an open-air Terrace that can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests. A retractable enclosed rooftop is included so the Terrace can be utilized year round, a dedicated modern lobby, and newly designed private elevator opening out onto the Terrace. The Terrace has a gorgeous 360-degree view of the famous Manhattan skyline including the Empire State Building and the majestic Marble Collegiate Church.
The Lofts at Prince
The Lofts at Prince has outdoor deck, two rooftop bars, and a breathtaking view. The Lofts, especially the penthouse with rooftop garden, provide the perfect NYC wedding venue or space to host bridal showers and engagement parties.
Winter is here! And whether you’re having a winter wedding or not, you can still appreciate some of the top trends that are about to be everywhere this season.
On this post, I want to focus on menswear options. Of course I couldn't talk about suits without mentioning The BlackTux, one of the best companies out there that offers an outstanding experience through their rental process.
Check out our list of the best winter wedding color ideas, trends and inspiration, below.
To give balance to the strong Plum color and shades of purple, we suggest pairing a plum bridesmaid dress with a light grey suit. I love how those colors balance well and complements each other. Plum could also be incorporated in the men's tie and floral arrangements as accent flowers. "Greyish" greenery and nude flowers complements a perfect bridal bouquet. Nude linens on tables, plum and dusty green on florals, and transparent ghost dinning chairs make the perfect elegant combination.
My next choice would be the combination of Olive and Black. Keeping classic and more neutral, I suggest with this option, Olive dresses for the bridesmaids which would be paired really well with a modern black tuxedo like the one above. The bouquet should be kept very classic. Details should incorporate the various shades of green, from mint to seaweed, combined with a pale tone like beige. Flower arrangements should be the classic white and green.
And to finalize our winter wedding color ideas - Navy and Marsala. This combination is perfect for a more intense and passionate couple. I would choose a dark Navy suit paired with a burgundy or darker shade of red tie. That color should match the bridesmaids dresses and be as accents on stationary, candle holders, napkins. For flowers, I'd suggest seeds, greenery, and a blush toned ribbon just to give a little softness to the whole look adding at the same time a touch of modernity.
I came across another blog and would like to share their wonderful article : Your Go-To Color Palettes for 2018!
So, what is your favorite winter wedding color trend? Please leave your comment as I'd love to learn your opinion!
