Our First Wedding

September is definitely a month of personal celebrations! My birthday on the 10th, my mom's on the 16th, and my first two weddings with Beautiful Bride Events happened this month as well.
Our first wedding took place on September 21st in downtown Charleston, at the Upstairs at Midtown. The bride wanted a rustic theme, with brick walls, wood floors and ceilings, wild flowers, lots of candles, mason jars, a beautiful naked cake. A Sunday brunch buffet was perfect for this morning wedding. It was a wonderful journey to plan this wedding withing three months. We helped them selecting the right venue, florist, photographer, and baker. I was present in all vendors appointments, which made me feel so close to this sweet out-of- town couple. Meeting their closest friends and families, made me feel even surer of what I want to do for the rest of my life. Congratulations, dear April and Carlos!

Harboside East Event Venue

I will be coordinating a wedding in October, at Harborside East. I visited the venue last week and met Its director, Chelsea Banias. Harborside East is a very elegant event venue in Mount Pleasant, Sc. It's located at the foot of Ravenel Bridge, just minutes from historic downtown Charleston.
The venue includes more than 10,000 square foot of indoor and outdoor space and can accommodate up to 600 guests. The outdoor patio overlooks the marsh and harbor, and there are four waterfront view options for the ceremony.
