Beautiful Bride Events started as a wedding planning company in Charleston, South Carolina five years ago. When I founded the company, I wanted to base our approach in a real and trustful relationship between our planners and clients. A wedding is, without a doubt, one of the most memorable days of someone's life and I knew, at that time, our journey in the wedding planning industry would be something very special.
At that time, I didn't think of expanding my business to another city, as I was still perusing the dream of succeeding in Charleston. As the years went by, I remember falling in love with NYC right away after a vacation trip there with my mom for the first time. The diversity, amazing restaurants, Broadway shows, and the many cultural attractions truly amazed me and I knew I would be coming back again, but for a bigger purpose than just vacation.
In 2017 I decided to take the next big step and expand Beautiful Bride Events to NYC. Luckily, I found Kerry Gittle and at our first interview I knew right away she was the perfect person to lead the business in New York. Kerry has been our lead planner for New York Region since then. In celebration to our 5th Anniversary, a cocktail party was held at City Vineyard at Pier 26 on March 25th, 2019. We have invited our clients, favorite vendors, media, and engaged couples, who were kindly greeted at the door with champagne glasses.
City Vineyard was simply the perfect venue for our celebration. Our guests had a great time of mingling and networking while enjoying wonderful views of the Hudson River and New Jersey skyline. Live music was provided by Charming Jazz, with talented pianist Floris Boere and jazz vocalist Charmae. They played a variety of jazz selections from frank Sinatra to Brazilian Bossa Nova.
City Vineyard catered delicious appetizers and served a great selection of wine, craft beer, and specialty cocktails. To finalize the night iReserve DJ played some of the best tunes while guests enjoyed some sweet treats and had fun with a photo booth provided by Broadway Photo Booth.
Our guests took home thank you bags containing a gift certificate provided by Fred AstaireMidtown, personalized sugar cookies, and our beautiful coffee mugs.
A special thank you to our team of wedding planners in New York City, Kerry and Sarah, for making this event a total success.

This year Beautiful Bride Events celebrates Its 5th Anniversary and we needed to update our first Charleston promotional video produced 3 years ago by Frank Guy with Francis West Studios to a new version. So happy in how this video turned out.
We started shooting at locations where we usually use to meet our clients in Charleston, for example The Dewberry Hotel lounge area and one of my favorite Coffee Shops in West Ashley, Coffee Exchange. Free internet and a sleek atmosphere make these two some of our favorite meeting places.
The concept of the video was to sell Charleston's beautiful backdrops for weddings, like Its Plantations, Historic venues, Beaches, and to show a little of what we do on a daily basis and the services we offer.
We thank Southern Protocol, one of our favorite bridal boutiques and The Flower Cottage, a great Downtown option for flowers for being part of this video.
Francis West Studios has been our preferred vendor for a few years already and we highly recommend their videography services for your events.

Christina and Sledge got hitched on September 22, and what a perfect day it was! Taylor Rae Photography captured their wedding beautifully. They had their first date during the Charlotte uptown protests, their second date during hurricane Matthew, and their engagement session during a freezing cold day in Charleston. So it's safe to say we were all extremely happy with an 80 degree, slightly breezy Charleston day for their wedding!

A beautiful and unique Garden City Wedding is such an unique idea. We wanted to do something less traditional when we think of a New York City wedding. We combined the City rooftop views with garden elements.
Beautiful Bride Events founder, Tassia Davis, and NY Region lead planner Kerry Gittle were able to bring their vision to life with the contribution of amazing vendors starting with photographer Jenny Fu with Jenny Fu Studio who has been published recently on Brides Magazine. Talented Manhattan florist Designs by Ahn provided a beautiful bouquet, boutonniere and the perfect table centerpiece. The absolutely star from our shoot - a Galiah Lahav gown. From the calligraphy items to the flowers, from the jewelry to tabletop items, the modern elements came together in a beautiful way that could fill the eyes and dreamy minds of newly engaged couples.

Abby and Cody have truly a fairy tale story and their wedding couldn't have a more beautiful backdrop than the Boone Hall Plantation.
When I first met with Abby and Cody, we visited a few venues together and they just loved the Avenue of Oaks, beautiful gardens, and the Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation. Next we booked Nicole with Ava Moore Photography and honestly, these wedding pictures could't be more stunning. I am a fan of Nicole's work!. A few weeks later Cody was going to be deployed in Afghanistan for a year. Abby was a wonderful bride to work with and we got all the vendors lined up and took care of all details. Their wedding day was full of love and joy. Their colors were ivory, gold, blush, and green. Ann with The Purple Magnolia created the beautiful centerpieces, mantel arrangements, and the greenery on the poles inside the building. Abby's bouquet was very classic and romantic. Simply Elegant Rentals provided all rentals including drapes, chandeliers, and lounge furniture.
Planning their beautiful wedding in Charleston was truly a joy and this sweet couple will be always in our minds and hearts! Congratulations to Abby and Cody!
Congrats to Trent & Katie on their Founders Hall Wedding! We were working with them every step of the way through the planning months and Erika, our associate wedding planner with Beautiful Bride Events did an outstanding job coordinating their big day. Ava Moore Photography did such a great job capturing their day, that makes it hard to even pick a few photos to share. Founders Hall has that woodsy rustic feel that suited Katie and Trent’s vision perfectly. The park has an absolutely breathtaking setting. The greenery and flowers by The Purple Magnolia were absolutely stunning and are one of my favorite details.
